I'll not be renewing my Yellow Pages advert this year. This doesn't mean the studio is closing - far from it.
The reason is simply that everyone looks for information online these-days, either on their PCs or via mobile phones.
I can't even remember the last time any client came into the studio and said they'd found the studio via the phone book. When I first opened the studio eighteen years ago, things were different. Most people didn't own a computer, and mobile phones were enormous - and few people owned them, too.
Technology, and the way people use technology, has changed. Out with the old... Hence me not renewing the old paper phone book advert.
